The Mitsubishi Outlander Investigation Vehicle is intended to transport fire investigators. The vehicle is designed to carry 5 persons of a fire investigation unit and equipment necessary for the investigators.
The technical equipment is stored in the luggage-compartment. It is a basic equipment needed for activities of an investigation unit, for example: hand flashlights, lighting system, lever shears, hand rescue tool, folding shovel, binoculars, camera, hand-held stop sign, demarcation tape, two sets of compressed air breathing apparatus with spare cylinder, two aluminium boxes for investigators’ equipment, various hand tools, gauges, writing material, dictaphone, voltmeter, anemometer, storage vessels and equipment for sampling, medical equipment and detergents.
The vehicle is equipped with a special warning light and acoustic device comprising a lowered light bar and multifunctional control in the soffit between the driver and the commander. Special additional warning LED lights are located on the front grille and behind the tailgate window.
